Question 1

What is IC Bureau?

Accepted Answer

IC Bureau is an independent, non-governmental review platform operated by Internet Commerce Bureau, where anyone can read and write reviews of companies. It is not a government agency and is not affiliated with any government. Every company profile is permanent and every review is public.

Question 2

Can a company pay to remove negative reviews?

Accepted Answer

No. On IC Bureau, company profiles can never be deleted or taken down, and no one — including the company itself — can pay to remove a review.

Question 3

How do I write a review?

Accepted Answer

Find the company's profile, sign in, and share your experience with a 1–5 star rating and a written review. Each person can leave one review per company and can edit it later.

Question 4

Can businesses respond to reviews?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A business can claim its profile by submitting proof of ownership, which our team verifies. Once approved, the business can post one public response per review and add a company summary.
